Professional Burnout & Stress: Causes, Effects and Coping Strategies Sandra Frazier, M.D. Sandra Frazier, M.D. is the Physician Health Officer with the Physician Resource Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Within this professional role, she provides services dedicated to the well being of physicians and physicians in training. After completing her residency and fellowship in Addiction Medicine at the University of Mississippi, she started the Addiction Recovery Program at UAB where she served as Medical Director for eleven years. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Mountain View Hospital reserves the right to cancel any class offering. Registration fees will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation by Mountain View Hospital. Registration fees of applicants who wish to cancel will be fully refunded if notification is received within two weeks of the seminar by written, e-mail or telephone request. Any cancellations thereafter will be refunded less a twenty (20) percent processing fee. Fees charged for each program listed above include all program materials, certificates, refreshments and lunch where indicated. Physicians: Mountain View Hospital (MVH) WILL DISCONTINUE PROVIDING CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) TO PHYSICIANS EFFECTIVE 2/2009. Psychologists: MVH is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. MVH maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Licensed
Professional Counselors: MVH is a NBCC Approved Continuing Education
Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC approved clock hours for events that meet
NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the
program.
Pharmacists: The State of Alabama Board of Pharmacy has approved the above activities for the indicated number of credit hours. EMT Basic, Intermediate & Paramedics: Mountain View Hospital is approved by the State of Alabama Department of Public Health Medical Services Division to provide elective continuing education credits for EMT Basic, Intermediate & Paramedics.
