Admissions to Mountain View Hospital are accepted upon referral by physicians, mental health professionals, community agencies, schools, churches and the family. All patients are admitted to the hospital after evaluation and approval by a physician on the Mountain View medical staff. Mountain View Hospital has a non-discriminatory policy regarding patient’s admissions. Patients are admitted without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national orientation, age, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
The Case Management Department at Mountain View Hospital is staffed with nurses and mental health professionals that are equipped with the knowledge to help you decide which form of service you or your loved one is need of. Any new patient to Mountain View Hospital, whether it is inpatient or outpatient, will be routed through the case management department before any other.

The case management department will be able to verify behavioral health benefits on most commercial insurance companies and give you accurate information regarding the coverage you can expect from your health insurance provider. Treatment is covered fully or in part by most insurance plans. Mountain View Hospital is Medicare approved, and for ages up to 21, Medicaid approved. The financial situation of the family is considered, and courtesy admissions may be available, depending upon specific criteria and needs of the patient and the referral source.
