Admissions to Mountain View Hospital are accepted upon referral by physicians, mental health professionals, community agencies, schools, churches and the family. All patients are admitted to the hospital after evaluation and approval by a physician on the Mountain View medical staff. The Case Management Department at Mountain View Hospital is staffed with nurses and mental health professionals that are equipped with the knowledge to help you decide which form of service you or your loved one is need of. Any new patient to Mountain View Hospital, whether it is inpatient or outpatient, will be routed through the case management department before any other.

The financial situation of the family is considered, and courtesy admissions may be available, depending upon specific criteria and needs of the patient and the referral source.
